What are crowns and bridges?
Why endure a broken tooth that makes you self-conscious? The fix is direct, simple, pain-free and cost effective.
A crown, also known as a cap, is a tooth-shaped covering that is molded over and affixed to a damaged tooth. The crown protects damaged teeth that can’t be preserved with traditional metal fillings. It is a treatment for fractured or decayed teeth, and also finishes a root canal. Crowns are available in a variety of materials.
Bridges are used to replace missing teeth by crowning the adjacent teeth. They have other benefits as well, such as improved food chewing and restoring a full smile. Both sturdy in the mouth and permanent, they last for years, although normal wear can require re-cementing.
Crowns and bridges are great-looking permanent solutions that are also cost-effective.
